Artist Statement

Bearing witness to cycles of life, death and rebirth, my work explores ritual as a way to cope with grief and loss.

My mixed media sculptures are created using commercial and handmade molds often incorporating ceramic, wax, found animal remains, and plants.

Utilizing imagery of broken hearts, maternal figures, and bone I touch on themes of grief, healing, and the ever-lasting impact of death.
